Featured Alumni Photo: Fragile Fern at Tree Root Base

Featured Alumni Photo:

During a recent eco-photo excursion at Michigan’s Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, participant Ileana Habsburg-Snyder captured a photo of a Fragile Fern emerging from the root base of an old sugar maple tree.
  • Interesting subject matter, revealing the natural relationship of the great sugar maple and the tiny, fragile fern
  • Great visual story telling
  • Good exposure – good choice of natural lighting
  • Wonderfully balanced composition

All-in-all, great job Ileana!

Until next time, happy shooting!
